Laboratory Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue harvesting and detailed dissections across various tissue types
• Prepare and formulate tissue media under strict quality control standards
• Package and ship products with accurate labeling and documentation
• Maintain lab cleanliness, equipment care, and inventory levels
• Process tissue for live cell cultures using aseptic techniques
• Support daily lab operations including stocking and receiving materials
• Provide basic customer support via email and phone
• Assist with research projects and help train team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant experience in lab, medical, pharmacy, or similar environments
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to follow detailed procedures with precision
• Basic computer proficiency for email and data entry
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs overhead and move 50 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• College coursework in life sciences
• Two-year degree in lab technology, forensics, or a related field
• Background in medical, veterinary, dental, or pharmacy technology
