Laboratory Technician I - Metals

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispose of samples according to analytical SOPs
• Maintain sample archival and disposal processes
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Assist with investigations and preparation of responses to client inquiries and CARs
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook where applicable
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
• Cross train with other departments as needed

Requirements

• Advanced English language skills
• Basic reasoning and mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull upwards of 25 lbs frequently

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
