Laboratory Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests as outlined by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct scheduled calibrations, standardization, and SPC tests
• Perform routine maintenance on testing instrumentation
• Complete all paperwork required to track tests and their validity
• Load data for performed tests and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Accurately record personal production to meet requirements
• Route, store, and dispose of samples according to SOPs
• Comply with local and corporate quality assurance policies and ISO 17025 requirements

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Laboratory experience preferred
• Working knowledge of good laboratory practice (GLP)
• Ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours
• Comfortable working in a high-paced production environment
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and handle glassware
