Laboratory Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation, login, and management using LIMS
• Conduct analysis of semiconductor grade chemicals for trace impurities or assay
• Utilize ICP-MS, GC-MS, and particle counters to provide quality data
• Calibrate analytical instruments and prepare high-quality standards
• Ensure the integrity of test results through precise data entry into management systems
• Maintain lab cleanliness, organization, and proper hazardous waste disposal
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
• Support logistical needs by coordinating sample transport between Taylor and Austin sites

Requirements

• HS Diploma with 5 years of lab experience, OR Associate Degree in Chemistry with 3 years of experience, OR Bachelor Degree in Chemistry with 0 years of experience
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the industrial gas or semiconductor industry
