Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily laboratory analyses to support production processes, including chemical processes, coating analysis, and incoming inspections
• Conduct various tests such as manual and automatic titration, gravimetric analysis, spectrometry, and metallography
• Manage chemical handling, solution preparation, and the use of laboratory equipment
• Execute preventive maintenance routines, resolve equipment failures, and coordinate with suppliers
• Report analysis results in compliance with laboratory quality system requirements and industry standards
• Support engineering testing projects and process improvement initiatives
• Lead activities related to operational systems, including 5S, continuous improvement, and internal audits

Requirements

• Laboratory technician degree or an unfinished degree in Chemistry, Metallurgical Engineering, or Materials Engineering
• Experience with titration and spectrometry
• Experience with metallography and chemical handling
• Ability to read and write in English
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
