About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze laboratory samples using standard analytical techniques in compliance with established protocols
  • Operate and maintain complex laboratory instrumentation including gas chromatography, GC/MS, atomic absorption, and ICP systems
  • Aliquot, weigh, and process samples with meticulous attention to detail
  • Record, calculate, and report analytical data and results to supervisors
  • Perform routine glassware washing and maintain general housekeeping standards
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles
  • Conduct all laboratory activities in a safe and organized manner adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and support laboratory goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous laboratory experience or exposure
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP compliance and laboratory safety standards
  • Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently under supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sample preparation using standard laboratory techniques
  • Proficiency in performing chemical analysis and data calculations
  • Familiarity with instrument-specific data systems and software
  • Experience in production-oriented environments
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle laboratory equipment
