Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis
• Perform sample preparation including aliquoting, spiking, reagent preparation, and sonication
• Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper sample labeling
• Prepare laboratory paperwork, including recording results and tracking samples in logbooks
• Wash laboratory glassware and stock necessary supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning work areas
• Assist other laboratory areas as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• High school Chemistry coursework
• Basic laboratory experience
• Experience with warehouse or inventory management
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to stand for long periods and adhere to strict safety protocols
