Laboratory Technician

About the Company

ECOCEM Innovation is the R&D branch of Ecocem Materials, a company specializing in the development, production, and marketing of eco-responsible construction materials, particularly low-carbon cements, mortars, and concretes made from recycled raw materials. We are a leader in Europe in these new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record results of various tests (concrete, mortar, aggregates, etc.) following defined standards and operating procedures
• Work in a team to carry out specific tests
• Prepare raw materials and equipment for different tests according to the schedule
• Maintain and manage periodic control of laboratory instruments and equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory space
• Participate in laboratory storage management, including receiving and preparing/sending packages
• Participate in various aspects of laboratory life
• Note: Work is performed in a temperature and humidity-regulated room and requires daily lifting of loads up to 25kg

Requirements

• Autonomous and rigorous in task execution
• Respectful of safety and required procedures
• Baccalaureate level or higher
• Technical training (Bac+2) in physical measurements, civil engineering, or public works preferred
• Or early experience in the construction sector (quality control or R&D laboratory)
• Basic knowledge of English
• Proficiency with Office suite software
