Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform physico-chemical analyses on raw materials, process products, and finished goods
• Conduct routine and specific microbiological analyses
• Implement advanced analytical techniques including GC-FID, GC/MS, and fine chromatographic methods
• Organize and participate in organoleptic tastings in collaboration with relevant teams
• Contribute to decision-making processes regarding the acceptance or refusal of batches
• Ensure the reliability, traceability, and interpretation of analytical results
• Maintain laboratory standards and ensure compliance with ISO and HACCP requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and site-wide transverse projects

Requirements

• Higher education in sciences with a BUT Chemistry level certificate
• Experience working in a quality laboratory or within the spirits industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software such as LIMS, Chemstation, or SAP
• Proven experience in organoleptic analysis
• Technical English proficiency (reading and writing)
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team
