Laboratory Technician Asbestos Analysis

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses on provided filters sampled by technicians to check for asbestos fibers in ambient air
• Investigate filters for the presence of fibers using a microscope after preparation
• Report results to customers according to a fixed format
• Collect sampling material occasionally
• Support the preparation of air research and measurements

Requirements

• High level of independence, responsibility, and meticulousness
• Experience with microscopy is a plus but not required (training provided)
