Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological tests on manufacturing samples and medicines following documented methodologies
• Perform daily quality control checks and equipment calibrations
• Ensure timely analysis to meet customer and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a clean and tidy laboratory environment, including safe waste disposal
• Complete all required documentation accurately and legibly
• Monitor laboratory stock levels and report replenishment needs
• Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety, COSHH, and PPE regulations

Requirements

• 5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) including Science, Maths, and English
• A-Level or equivalent qualification in a scientific subject
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively within a team
• Basic IT literacy and good communication skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
