Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Label, unpack, and register samples for analysis
• Perform routine sample testing including ICP-OES, FTIR, Viscosity, and Particle Counting
• Conduct colour analysis, acid-base titrations, and Karl Fischer titrations
• Perform basic equipment calibration
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
• Work collaboratively within a team of technicians and technical support staff

Requirements

• Willingness to work night shifts (11 pm to 7 am), Monday to Friday
• Ability to move and lift racks and boxes in the 5-10kg range
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Ability to work reasonable overtime when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Cert IV or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques or a similar field
• Previous experience using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
