Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests as outlined by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct scheduled calibrations, standardization, and SPC tests
• Perform routine maintenance on testing instrumentation
• Complete all paperwork required to track tests and ensure validity
• Load data for performed tests and maintain accurate production records
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety guidelines
• Route, store, and dispose of samples properly according to SOPs
• Comply with local and corporate quality assurance policies and ISO 17025 requirements

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of good laboratory practice (GLP)
• Ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours
• Comfortable working in a high-paced production environment
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and handle glassware
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with team members

• Previous experience working in a laboratory setting
