Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Process pharmaceutical samples for analysis and ensure they are analyzed within holding times
• Weigh, check, and blend food and pharmaceutical samples with high accuracy
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation to meet client turnaround goals
• Maintain efficient and safe laboratory operations, including daily housekeeping tasks
• Perform various ad hoc tasks to support the laboratory team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Minimum of a laboratory certificate or a qualification in science
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to quality, safety, and good laboratory practices
• Ability to undertake reasonable overtime as required
• Eligibility to work in Australia (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid working visa)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a high-throughput, client-focused laboratory environment
