Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and physical testing of oil, fuel, and coolant samples
• Apply a range of analytical tests using specialised laboratory instruments
• Accurately record sample and testing data into the LIMS system
• Ensure all work is completed in line with Quality Work Instructions and QA/QC requirements
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety policies
• Support the team to deliver quality results within agreed turnaround times

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in an oils laboratory or production-based industry (desirable)
• Tertiary or Polytechnic qualification or accredited laboratory training (completed or currently studying)
• Strong computer literacy
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
