Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on food and environmental samples in accordance with documented methodology
• Prepare and plate samples, including pouring and incubating using aseptic methods
• Conduct daily quality control checks and equipment calibrations
• Maintain accurate records and ensure workstations are clean and tidy
• Adhere to all site Quality Management systems and Health and Safety protocols

Requirements

• Experience working in a high throughput environment
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
