Laboratory Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee day-to-day laboratory operations
• Determine waste acceptability and establish appropriate disposition per regulatory requirements
• Identify and authorize disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with federal and state regulations
• Interpret analytical data and advise personnel on waste scheduling and shipments
• Maintain all laboratory documentation according to company and regulatory standards
• Operate laboratory processes including waste sampling, analysis, storage, and disposal
• Provide training to chemists and laboratory technicians to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related discipline
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the hazardous waste industry preferred
• 1 to 2 years of prior supervisory experience preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills
