Laboratory Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee day-to-day laboratory operations
• Determine waste acceptability and establish appropriate disposition per regulatory requirements
• Identify and authorize disposal of hazardous waste
• Interpret analytical data and advise personnel on waste scheduling
• Maintain laboratory documentation and records for waste shipments
• Operate laboratory including waste sampling, analysis, storage, and disposal
• Provide training to chemists and laboratory technicians
• Resolve analytical issues with in-house personnel and customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or a related discipline
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the hazardous waste industry preferred
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills
