Laboratory Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage growth pathways for department personnel through goals and evaluations
• Oversee daily production and ensure quality management system compliance
• Perform performance management for direct reports including weekly/bi-weekly meetings
• Manage department resources including supplies, equipment, and staffing levels
• Facilitate continuous improvement and error reduction through trend monitoring
• Provide technical support to marketing, sales, and customers regarding testing and reporting
• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for safety or operational incidents
• Promote a strong culture of quality and safety within the department

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Science with emphasis in chemistry or related field and 3-5 years in a management/supervisory role
• OR Associate’s Degree in Chemistry and minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories
• Experience in sample analysis
• Ability to lead investigations and root cause analysis
