Laboratory Stores Technician

Responsibilities

• Managing the receipt, booking in, and storage of laboratory samples and equipment
• Ensuring items are tracked accurately and are easy to locate
• Supporting the lab by retrieving samples quickly and efficiently
• Carrying out stock checks and ordering consumables
• Liaising with internal teams and customers regarding deliveries and queries
• Supporting the safe dispatch of samples, including Dangerous Goods
• Disposing of petrochemical products after testing
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and service delivery

Requirements

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise in a busy environment
• IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Experience in a laboratory, stores, warehouse, or production environment is beneficial
• Forklift licence or experience is advantageous
