About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform qualitative analysis of samples and routine laboratory support functions
- Collect samples, prepare media, reagents, and standard solutions
- Manage glassware cleaning, stocking, and distribution of supplies
- Record data, perform calculations, and report results in compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping to minimize contamination and safety hazards
- Follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety/health requirements
- Assist higher-level technical personnel with advanced instrumentation and procedures
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- 0 to 1 years of laboratory experience
- Basic mathematical and computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
- Ability to organize, evaluate, and interpret data against specifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work overtime if required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a closely related discipline
