Laboratory Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the laboratory Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and NATA requirements
• Act as the site Quality representative and provide expert guidance on quality-related matters
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities
• Provide staff induction and training on Quality and HSE policies and procedures
• Facilitate Management Review Meetings and track actions to completion
• Oversee method validation and verification activities to ensure technical reliability and accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance laboratory performance, efficiency, and quality outcomes
• Manage corrective and preventive actions, ensuring issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
• Monitor laboratory quality records, calibrations, and documentation to maintain accreditation standards
• Provide technical support to laboratory operations and promote a strong culture of quality, compliance, and safety

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Science, Chemistry, or a related field
• Experience working with ISO 17025 accreditation and laboratory quality systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
