Laboratory Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate chemistry instruments (HPLC, GC, TLC) and advanced systems like cyclotrons for radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and quality control
• Author and maintain precise documentation for manufacturing, quality control, and laboratory investigations
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical laboratory equipment
• Prepare products for shipment and coordinate courier logistics to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain aseptic cleanroom environments to prevent contamination of injectable materials
• Conduct regular environmental monitoring and adhere to strict safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and flexibility to rotate into alternative shifts
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, and email)
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, or a related Life Science field
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Previous experience in a laboratory environment or working with analytical laboratory equipment
• Familiarity with radiation safety or ALARA principles
