About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate chemistry instruments (HPLC, GC, TLC) and advanced systems like cyclotrons for radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and quality control
- Author and maintain precise documentation for manufacturing, quality control, and laboratory investigations
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical laboratory equipment
- Prepare products for shipment and coordinate courier logistics to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain aseptic cleanroom environments to prevent contamination of injectable materials
- Conduct regular environmental monitoring and adhere to strict safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Willingness to work overnight shifts and flexibility to rotate into alternative shifts
- Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, and email)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, or a related Life Science field
- Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment or working with analytical laboratory equipment
- Familiarity with radiation safety or ALARA principles
