About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement and inventory by collecting vendor data and coordinating specialty equipment requests with the Procurement Office
  • Oversee facilities and space management, including tracking maintenance issues and supporting lab move coordination
  • Provide operational support for research programs, such as managing emergency backup freezer monitoring and electronic resource catalogs
  • Facilitate faculty onboarding and offboarding processes related to lab readiness, equipment, and space
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting operational issues and ensuring compliance with safety policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience
  • At least three years of related professional experience
  • Proven experience supporting laboratory operations within a research environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
  • High level of organizational skill and attention to detail
