About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of 10 laboratory technicians to ensure high industrial performance.
- Coordinate all laboratory activities, including physical, chemical, and mechanical testing of raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and quality assurance procedures throughout the production process.
- Monitor product quality, propose corrective measures, and alert services in case of defective product risks.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and management of laboratory equipment.
- Optimize human and material resources to meet quality control schedules.
- Propose investments in new analytical equipment and conduct testing protocols for process evolutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental rules on-site.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bac +2 degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- At least 5 years of experience within the cement industry.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of cement manufacturing processes.
- Deep understanding of testing standards, methods, and quality assurance protocols.
- Mastery of laboratory equipment and analytical tools.
- Ability to work transversally across different departments and analyze complex data.
