Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of 10 laboratory technicians to ensure high industrial performance.
• Coordinate all laboratory activities, including physical, chemical, and mechanical testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and quality assurance procedures throughout the production process.
• Monitor product quality, propose corrective measures, and alert services in case of defective product risks.
• Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and management of laboratory equipment.
• Optimize human and material resources to meet quality control schedules.
• Propose investments in new analytical equipment and conduct testing protocols for process evolutions.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental rules on-site.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bac +2 degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• At least 5 years of experience within the cement industry.
• Proven experience in team management and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cement manufacturing processes.
• Deep understanding of testing standards, methods, and quality assurance protocols.
• Mastery of laboratory equipment and analytical tools.
• Ability to work transversally across different departments and analyze complex data.
