Laboratory Leader

Responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for the NYCE Colombia S.A.S. laboratory, ensuring impartial and objective services
• Coordinate and supervise testing and trial services in strict compliance with applicable regulations
• Support the development of training content and provide necessary training to staff
• Coordinate quotations, invoicing, and collections
• Maintain updated knowledge of national and international regulatory documents and criteria
• Supervise information analysis, decision-making, and the issuance of laboratory reports
• Identify and analyze business opportunities to expand the service portfolio
• Support internal quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Manage laboratory infrastructure, including necessary calibrations and maintenance
• Implement and report on performance indicators for the area

Requirements

• Professional degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields
• Desirable specialization in projects, quality management, or materials engineering
• 2 to 5 years of verifiable experience leading laboratories and teams in the electrical sector
• ISO/IEC 17025 certification
• RETIE and RETILAP certification
