Laboratory Intern (Chemistry)

Responsibilities

• Assist Chemist or Laboratory Supervisor in carrying out laboratory experiments to set up new methodology or improve current methodology
• Review, enhance and update working instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and standard method comparisons under supervision
• Adhere to group HSE safety procedures
• Maintain strict client confidentiality regarding all information and test methods
• Ensure Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory practice in the laboratory
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superiors

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field from a recognized university or college
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong personality and professional conduct
