Laboratory Instrument System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintain instrument and software in a validated state through assessment, troubleshooting, and repair
• Develop and implement CAPA to resolve technical issues
• Ensure completion of preventative maintenance and routine qualification testing
• Install and configure software for electronic record compliance
• Analyze system logs and audit trails, perform software/firmware upgrades, and conduct periodic compliance reviews
• Determine approaches for instrumentation testing and validation
• Compile and maintain GXP compliant documentation
• Research and onboard new instrumentation and integrate it into existing workflows
• Provide technical writing for validation deliverables and investigations
• Train system users and administrators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physical science (chemistry, engineering, computer science, etc.)
• Experience in the analysis of therapeutic proteins using HPLC techniques (IEX, SEC, HIC, RP) and CE (ICE, CE)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
