About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and verification of laboratory instruments such as spectrometers, chromatographs, pH meters, and balances
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate necessary repairs with external vendors
- Ensure all equipment complies with regulatory and internal quality standards including ISO, GMP, and PSM
- Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and equipment performance in compliance with SOPs
- Support quality control testing by preparing equipment, making up chemicals, and staging raw materials
- Record maintenance activities, work orders, and purchase orders in electronic systems like SAP or LIMS
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with EHS standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with safety and quality standards such as ISO and GMP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other specialized computer programs
- Ability to work independently and follow strict SOPs
- Ability to work overtime as required to support plant needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SAP or LIMS systems
- Understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles
- Proven experience in calibrating and maintaining complex laboratory equipment
