Laboratory Engineer

Responsibilities

• Follow complex defined test plans and datasheets with necessary supervision
• Evaluate test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results
• Record and explain test results and complete test reports
• Serve as Project Lead for simple test programs as assigned
• Communicate project status and results to stakeholders
• Define test plans and manage project-related activities to meet deadlines
• Examine complex customer samples and operate appropriate tests
• Direct, build, and adapt simple test setups and equipment
• Operate and maintain complex test equipment and laboratory areas
• Perform complex maintenance and calibration of test equipment
• Suggest improvements for new equipment, processes, and forms

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects with high quality
• Experience partnering with engineering and laboratory personnel
• Ability to analyze special testing needs
• Effective communication and customer interaction skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing
