Laboratory Engineer, Toy Testing

Responsibilities

• Execute testing based on defined test plans, standards, and datasheets
• Evaluate test performance and sample behavior to ensure accurate interpretation of results
• Record, analyze, and document test results to prepare comprehensive technical reports
• Act as Project Lead for simple test programs, managing timelines and deliverables
• Develop and own test plans, ensuring timely completion and report accuracy
• Build, set up, and adapt test fixtures or equipment based on engineering instructions
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex testing equipment
• Collaborate with technical teams to recommend improvements in tools and methodologies
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and security practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• 3-4 years of relevant Toy Testing experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Strong analytical capability to assess complex testing requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest and ability to incorporate automation and technology into testing processes
• Experience with laboratory equipment calibration and advanced maintenance
