Laboratory Chemist

Responsibilities

• Execute defined test plans and datasheets to evaluate sample performance and operation.
• Record, explain, and complete detailed test reports.
• Serve as a lead for simple test programs, managing project activities, deadlines, and accuracy.
• Examine customer samples and operate appropriate testing equipment.
• Build, adapt, or direct simple test setups and sample preparations based on instructions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure the cleanliness of the laboratory area.
• Integrate basic process and instrument improvements into daily testing workflows.
• Follow safe chemical hygiene practices and company security protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Material Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and customer service.
• Strong analytical testing skills and the ability to analyze special testing needs.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing processes.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal customers and technical staff.
