Laboratory Chemist

Responsibilities

• Follow defined test plans and datasheets to evaluate test performance and sample operation
• Record, explain, and complete detailed test reports
• Serve as a lead for simple test programs, managing project activities and meeting deadlines
• Examine customer samples and operate appropriate tests with internal customer coordination
• Build, adapt, and maintain simple test setups, sample preparations, and laboratory instruments
• Integrate basic process and instrument improvements into daily testing workflows
• Maintain a safe laboratory environment by following chemical hygiene practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemistry or a related discipline (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Material Science)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and technical staff
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
