Laboratory Automation Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop and train agentic AI models for automated liquid handling feedback and scripting
• Integrate Laboratory Information Management System into automated liquid handling robotics fleet
• Test and deploy solutions into real scientific workflows alongside industry scientists and engineers
• Coordinate with cross functional team members to execute projects in a timely manner

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Basic programming proficiency in Python or equivalent
• Familiarity with ETL Processes
• Basic command line skills
• Strong communication and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLM training and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with Process Diagramming and workflow abstraction
• Ability to model data structures for efficient storage and retrieval
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming and scripting
• Experience with SQL, C++, and Github
• Experience working in a wet lab environment or with liquid handling devices
