Laboratory Associate, Flow Cytometry

Responsibilities

• Perform routine specimen analyses and document results in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate analytical results and verify validity using laboratory computer system algorithms
• Identify, document, and escalate unusual or questionable results to senior laboratory personnel
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions needed for testing
• Conduct post-analysis storage of samples and reagents
• Assist in drafting and improving laboratory procedures and techniques
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment aligned with 6S standards
• Communicate clearly and promptly with cross-functional stakeholders regarding workflow and supply needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
• 6 months of basic laboratory experience, including routine testing and documentation
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing and walking
• Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical handling
