Laboratory Assistant II

Responsibilities

• Support daily laboratory operations in a high-throughput production environment
• Assist with patient sample processing and follow laboratory protocols for storage and disposal
• Maintain laboratory inventory, including supplies, equipment, and glassware
• Perform laboratory decontamination and basic preventative maintenance on equipment
• Restock laboratory work areas and distribute supplies as needed
• Comply with Quality Management System policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements
• Work the designated shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Proficient computer skills, including internet navigation and email usage
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to stand for approximately 80% of the working day and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a scientific field
• 1+ years of pertinent laboratory experience
