About the role
Responsibilities
- Support daily laboratory operations in a high-throughput production environment
- Assist with patient sample processing and follow laboratory protocols for storage and disposal
- Maintain laboratory inventory, including supplies, equipment, and glassware
- Perform laboratory decontamination and basic preventative maintenance on equipment
- Restock laboratory work areas and distribute supplies as needed
- Comply with Quality Management System policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements
- Work the designated shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Proficient computer skills, including internet navigation and email usage
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to stand for approximately 80% of the working day and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a scientific field
- 1+ years of pertinent laboratory experience
