Laboratory Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily assaying of samples and perform testing from daily work lists
• Set up batches of samples to weigh and prepare solutions for testing
• Record test data and results in logbooks or eLIMS accurately
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment, including cleaning glassware and disposing of hazardous waste
• Adhere to Quality System documents, SOPs, and ISO/IEC 17025 standards
• Identify and report analytical difficulties to supervisors

Requirements

• High School diploma
• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of ISO 17025 guidelines
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
