Laboratory Assistant

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical techniques including weighing and homogenization
• Guide assistants and interns
• Communicate sample processing status to the registration area
• Perform proficiency testing under analyst supervision
• Organize the laboratory for material preparation (solutions, buffers, culture media, standard solutions)
• Check temperatures and validity of solutions and reagents
• Input information into the LIMS system
• Archive documents according to quality training
• Request corrective and preventive equipment maintenance
• Segregate and dispose of waste

Requirements

• Complete technical course
• Active CRQ or availability for activation
• Up to 1 year of experience
• Knowledge in the specific field of activity
• Behavioral skills: commitment, communication, organization, and proactivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Ongoing undergraduate degree
