About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparations including filtration, screening, extraction, and digestion
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as pipettes, shakers, centrifuges, and pH meters
- Assist with sample retrieval, storage, weighing, and disposal
- Prepare required reagents, standards, and reference materials
- Execute data processing tasks including calculations, data entry, and archival
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, including glassware and general lab ware
- Follow all quality control procedures and established safety regulations
- Ensure all tasks are completed within specific turnaround times (TAT)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous laboratory experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Manual dexterity to perform intricate and repetitive tasks
- Ability to stand for a full shift and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, graveyards, and weekends
