Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological analyses using standardized methodologies for water and food testing
• Conduct molecular biology assays
• Participate in the development and implementation of new methodologies
• Ensure traceability and reliability of results in conjunction with quality assurance controls
• Maintain traceability and control of laboratory supplies and equipment
• Comply with safety standards, quality assurance controls, and environmental policies

Requirements

• Academic background in Biochemistry, Food Technician, or related fields
• Technical knowledge in microbiological testing (water and food) and molecular biology
• Knowledge of laboratory quality control according to NTC-ISO/IEC 17025
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment procedures and sample treatment safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
