Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Request necessary work elements and consumables to ensure normal laboratory operations
• Validate testing methods according to quality assurance guidelines
• Validate and report laboratory analysis results considering QA/QC internal controls
• Ensure proper management, verification, and calibration of assigned laboratory equipment
• Participate in identifying process-associated risks
• Update procedures and instructions according to area requirements
• Ensure timely data entry into the system and timely delivery of analytical results
• Implement, maintain, and improve the laboratory quality management system

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field
• Minimum 6 months of experience in laboratory analysis or quality control
• Knowledge of NTC-ISO/IEC 17025 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Practical and theoretical experience in analysis methods
• Experience with atomic absorption equipment
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and sample traceability
