Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory sample analysis following established procedures and quality standards
• Conduct physico-chemical testing on products including biodiesel, glycerin, fats, and vegetable/animal oils
• Control the analytical process through sample reception, data processing, registration, and result emission
• Identify deviations and risks within the analytical process
• Participate in the update, development, verification, and validation of current and new methodologies
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies

Requirements

• Formal studies in Chemistry (Chemical Analyst, Technical Chemist, or University Technician in Chemistry/Food Science)
• At least 1 year of experience in physico-chemical testing, preferably with cereals, oilseeds, and by-products
• Proficiency in analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation calibration
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and sample traceability
• Experience with quality management systems and document control
• Advanced technical English
