Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Execute chemical, physical, and instrumental analyses according to established company procedures
• Request necessary work elements and consumables to ensure normal laboratory operations
• Validate testing methods following laboratory quality assurance guidelines
• Validate and report laboratory analysis results considering internal QA/QC controls
• Ensure proper management, maintenance, and calibration of assigned laboratory equipment
• Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment during work execution
• Report non-conforming products, customer complaints, or process risks to immediate supervisors
• Participate in internal and external audits and process risk identification
• Update procedures and instructions according to area requirements
• Guarantee timely data entry into the system and timely delivery of analytical results
• Implement, maintain, and improve the laboratory quality management system

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field
• Preferably 6 months of experience in laboratory analysis or quality control
• Knowledge of laboratory quality control according to NTC-ISO/IEC 17025
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
