Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of consumer, retail, food, environmental, or health samples using international or in-house methods
• Assist in organizing and maintaining daily laboratory operations in accordance with ISO17025 standards
• Perform chemical laboratory testing activities on the bench
• Ensure equipment is qualified and maintained at scheduled intervals
• Conduct regular chemical and consumables inventory checks
• Promote good housekeeping and safe systems of work
• Act according to SGS standards of ethics and integrity

Requirements

• Nitec in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent
• Prior experience in a laboratory environment is an advantage
• Ability to maintain high quality standards
• Ability to maintain good turnaround time (TAT) and on-time delivery (OTD)
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
• Ability to work well under pressure
