Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrocarbon and lubricant analysis according to established procedures
• Conduct filtergraphy, grid, and magnetic plug analysis
• Verify equipment calibration and operability, and develop/validate analysis methods
• Prepare reports for test result documentation
• Elaborate monthly statistics of performed analyses
• Review technical standards for new analysis methods, including validation and uncertainty assessment
• Maintain laboratory order, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards
• Schedule work based on analysis priorities provided by the Laboratory Manager
• Execute necessary controls during testing and report data for result evaluation
• Comply with Quality Assurance programs and established test method controls
• Identify non-conformities and propose corrective/preventive actions

Requirements

• Chemical, petrochemical, fluid mechanical engineer or related field
• ICML: MLA 1 certification (desirable)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in service companies oriented to the industrial and/or mining sector
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a laboratory analyst or in similar positions
