Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and chemical analysis using predetermined techniques to meet service requirements
• Comply with safety standards, control standards, organizational policies, and environmental regulations
• Participate in the update or development of new methodologies, including method execution, result recording, and data processing
• Operate, facilitate, and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, notifying management of any defects or replenishment needs

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (must be registered and licensed)
• Approximately 2 years of experience, ideally with oil and fat samples
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of analysis methods for animal and vegetable oils, fats, and food
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment usage and procedures
• Understanding of safety standards and sample traceability
• Knowledge of ISO 17025
• Basic English skills
