Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Execute and review physicochemical analyses according to established analytical methods
• Act as a technical reference, providing support and training to junior and mid-level analysts
• Prepare, standardize, and qualify solutions, reagents, and reference standards
• Ensure laboratory organization and compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Elaborate, review, and control technical documentation including analytical records and reports
• Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on analytical equipment such as GC, ICP, TGA, DSC, UV-Vis, HPLC/UPLC, and MS
• Support development, optimization, and transfer of analytical methods
• Plan and execute forced degradation studies, method validation (ICH Q2), and stability studies
• Investigate deviations, OOS/OOT, and define corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ANVISA, ICH, USP, and EP standards

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related fields
• Extensive experience in laboratory environments
• Proven mastery of chromatographic analytical techniques (HPLC, UPLC, GC)
• Knowledge of method development and validation
• Deep understanding of national and international regulatory standards (ANVISA, ICH, USP, EP)
• Residence in the Valinhos/Campinas region

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with mass spectrometry techniques (LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS)
• Analytical profile with critical vision and good communication skills
