Laboratory Analyst - Pesticides

Responsibilities

• Perform pesticide testing according to testing procedures or methods applying good laboratory practices, impartiality, and confidentiality
• Verify the calibration and operational status of equipment
• Operate LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instrumental equipment
• Prepare reagents and standards for analysis
• Execute necessary controls during testing
• Report, evaluate, and/or validate pesticide results
• Comply with the Result Validity Assurance program established for the testing method
• Maintain laboratory order and cleanliness
• Identify non-conformities during activities and propose necessary actions
• Participate in the update or implementation of new methodologies
• Schedule activities according to priorities established by the Laboratory Manager
• Comply with Quality, Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies

Requirements

• Professional degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pesticide testing
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS equipment
• Experience in pesticide method implementation and/or validation
• Knowledge of pesticide MRL (Maximum Residue Limits) preferred
• Availability for rotating shifts
• Basic English level
• MS Office proficiency
