Laboratory Analyst - Natural Gas

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory analysis services related to the composition, properties, and reactions of chemical and physical elements in samples
• Ensure correct execution of analysis methods, including verification calculations and data recording
• Prepare and manage laboratory supplies, equipment, and chemical reagents
• Manage sample treatment, reagent preparation, and standards according to current procedures
• Perform sampling following chain of custody and line pressurization/conditioning procedures
• Act as a witness for loading/unloading operations, preparing technical minutes and inspection reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Petrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Petroleum Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 6 months of experience in laboratories and LNG/Gas inspections
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and terminal/dock safety (ISPS Code)
• Familiarity with work permits and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Availability to work a 4x4 shift rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Metrology
• Technical English proficiency (B1–B2 level) for reading methods, MSDS, and manuals
