Laboratory Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Perform assays according to procedures and good laboratory practices
• Verify calibration and operational status of equipment
• Prepare reagents and standards for analysis
• Execute necessary controls during assay execution
• Validate data and information for result evaluation when authorized
• Report necessary data for result evaluation
• Identify non-conformities and propose necessary actions
• Maintain laboratory order and cleanliness
• Participate in continuous improvement of laboratory processes and quality management systems
• Comply with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies

Requirements

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field
• Experience in geochemical analysis for mining
• Experience operating Atomic Absorption equipment
• Availability to work rotating shifts
